Financially the Committee has to be self-supporting. We do not receive any funding at all.
We do try to keep costs to the bare minimum, but we do, of course, have to stay afloat!

Lift up your Voice

Saturday 18 April 2015, 2:00-6:00pm — St Andrew’s, Short Street, Waterloo SE1 8LJ

This short course, directed by our own Norman Harper (Director of Music at St George’s RC Cathedral, Southwark), is intended for both lay and ordained leaders. Offering simple, achievable music for use in churches where there is limited musical resource, participants will be provided with the skills needed to encourage and uplift the singing in their congregations. They will learn how to lead singing effectively and be supplied with examples of repertoire that could be introduced into their worship. Most of the material will suit all denominations, whilst some will be more specialised - Anglican, Roman Catholic, Methodist and URC churches will all find the course helpful. Copiable resources and recordings are included in the cost.

This event is for over-18s only and costs £20. You can download more information and a booking form.
