Stepping up from Silver to Gold is an exciting challenge. This whole day of training for choir directors and prospective candidates will explore all you need to know to move on to the Gold Award with confidence. The day will be led by experienced national examiners and is open to participants from all RSCM Areas. The cost is £30, but there are reduced fees for three or more singers from the same church. As part of the RSCM Church Music Skills programme, Peter Wright, Organist of Southwark Cathedral, will use the recently published The Complete Organist – Book 2 as a basis for this Skills session. This is a follow-up to last year’s highly successful morning, which used The Complete Organist – Book 1. Even if you were unable to come last year, here is an opportunity to spend a morning further improving your organ skills and techniques. Download information and an application form. On 23 September 2012, the successful candidates from this year's exams will be presented with their awards at during Evensong at Southwark Cathedral.
